ZecHub | Sync Meeting Updates (03/17/2026)
ZecHub Core Team updates, Zcash Contributors Workshop, My First Zcash v2, DAO proposals from the Last 2 Weeks and more!
This format makes it easier to stay in the loop even if you can’t catch the live sessions or YouTube recordings because of time zones or a packed schedule.

ZecHub Wiki Updates
We presented a range of improvements to the ZecHub website: a new isometric logo banner, Spanish language support, redesigned wallet and exchange pages, fixed DAO member profiles, a restructured governance section.
Dashboards
New dashboards were added covering DAO proposals and votes, ZCG grants and ZIPs, treasury allocation across Cosmos chains, and YouTube analytics, helping the team and community track governance and content performance in one place.
ZEC Bounties Platform (Testnet)
The bounties platform is live on testnet. Community members are invited to create bounties, test the flow, and report bugs. TAZ is rewarded for approved bounties. The goal is to ensure a smooth mainnet launch.
Community Calls
We are looking for contributors to help review and update outdated wiki pages.
A community X space between Beldex and Zcash was held. The Zcash community was introduced to the Beldex Ecosystem of messaging app, VPN and Token. The possibility of Beldex upgrading from Ring Signatures to Orchard was raised in addition to zkID and regulatory challenges facing privacy tools Listen back to the space:

A productive call was held with ShapeShift, with a follow-up planned once shielded support is live. ZEC swaps on ShapeShift are currently working via a privacy-preserving link.
My First Zcash v2 (MFZ v2)
Nearly complete — one chapter remaining before translators and graphic designers can begin. Mine is working on in-page illustrations, and a dedicated wiki page is planned post-launch.
Video Content & Social Media
Two Z|ECC Summit interviews were published, ShapeShift recording, Shorts about Crosslink & Z|ECC Summit went live. Arborist call summaries, Zcash Office Hours support, and Discord organization work continue on a regular basis.
DAO Meeting & Shielded Voting
A DAO meeting was set for March 18 to test shielded/private voting — one of the DAO’s core governance experiments. Members were asked to submit testnet addresses via Telegram ahead of the meeting.
Proposals
4 DAO proposals were reviewed with short presentations:
Discord Engagement Bot Dre proposes a points-based system to reward organic social media engagement.
Women in DeFi Summit 2026 Elzz seeks $4,960 sponsorship for a major blockchain event in Nigeria with 1,000+ attendees.
Inspire as Discord Moderator was discussed but Inspire was not present during the meeting to discuss his proposal.
