ZecHub Core Team updates, Bounty Program contributions and DAO proposals from the Last 2 Weeks

🧑🤝🧑 DAO Updates and New Members
The DAO welcomed Zolder as a new member, and Tron contributed improvements to the DAO website. Several recent proposals were rejected, but the team encourages ongoing submissions from the community.
🎬 Project Contributions and Progress
Progress continues on the Redbridge animated video, which is nearing completion with narration and sound effects. New posters have been released, including the ZenRock ZEC, and a halving countdown has been added to the dashboard. The newsletter and additional posters highlight key milestones.
📊 Network Data and Statistics
A new dataset on block fees has been integrated into the dashboard, providing more insight into network activity. The community discussed the impact of shielded and transparent transactions on network statistics.
🛒 Marketplace and Tokens
Zerdinals Marketplace activity was highlighted, with significant trading volume in tokens and NFTs, serving as a testnet for ZSA. The importance of developing new shielded applications was also discussed.
👩💻 Developer Events and Hackathon
Developers are invited to participate in the Zypherpunk Hackathon, with opportunities to contribute to the ecosystem and represent the community in various projects.
🌐 Community Engagement and Ecosystem
The Penumbra project was featured for its use of Zcash technology to offer private stablecoins and DEX functionality. The team encouraged community involvement the project and ongoing support for freedom preserving technologies.
🎓 Tutorials and Educational Content
New tutorial videos have been published on YouTube, including guides for ZEC to SOL & Arborist call summaries. The meeting also covered research and development sessions involving the Zcash Foundation and Electric Coin Company.
🗳️ CoinHolder Voting and Governance
The coin holder voting process is now live, allowing members to vote anonymously with shielded ZEC. The team is working on proposals for ZecHub 2026 and welcomes feedback.
🖥️ Node Operations and Technical Guides
Members are encouraged to run nodes, with written and video tutorials available to assist with setup. The release of Zebra 3.0.0 was announced, along with guides for installation and operation.
💬 Open Discussion and Proposals
Finally, the meeting included an open discussion for questions and suggestions, including proposals for new participation rules for DAO members. The group discussed engagement, the DAO constitution, and new governance tools.
